A Project Engineer is needed for a world class utility company in the Columbus, OH area. The job involves leading and coordinating complex engineering projects, managing diverse stakeholders and teams, resolving technical challenges, and making strategic decisions to ensure successful implementation of generation capital projects.

responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineering activities between company, Developer, A/E, and OEMs
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule
- Ensure designs meet stakeholder expectations and resolve constraints
- Provide engineering progress updates to project team and stakeholders
- Lead complex engineering discussions involving internal and external entities
- Identify, clarify, and resolve complex technical problems
- Present complex technical subjects clearly and persuasively
- Build teams and networks within and outside the company
- Make technical decisions based on calculated risks
- Understand the impact of strategies and decisions on customer and supplier relationships
- Bachelor's degree in engineering accredited by ABET
- 6 or more years of related engineering experience OR
- Master's or PhD in engineering from ABET-accredited program with 4 years of related experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in any U.S. state or similar credentials
