We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join our transportation team. You will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling of routes, assigning drivers to routes, and responding to any unforeseen circumstances or emergencies that may arise during the transportation process. Your excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, and quick decision-making will contribute to the smooth operation of the transportation system.salary: $21.8 - $21.81 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Develop and optimize bus routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of students. Consider factors such as traffic patterns, locations, and special needs requirements. Create daily schedules for bus drivers, including pickup and drop-off times, route assignments, and any special instructions. Maintain regular communication with bus drivers, school administrators, and parents/guardians regarding transportation schedules, delays, and other pertinent information. Ensure that all transportation operations comply with safety regulations and policies. Monitor drivers' adherence to safety protocols and address any concerns promptly. Coordinate responses to emergencies or disruptions in transportation services, such as accidents, breakdowns, or severe weather conditions. Maintain accurate records of bus routes, driver assignments, mileage, fuel consumption, and other transportation-related data. Provide training and support to bus drivers on routes, procedures, and safety practices. Address driver concerns and provide feedback as needed. Handle inquiries and concerns from parents/guardians regarding transportation services. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address complaints or issues in a professional manner. Use of MS Word and Excel and any other software to record information.
